Corky and the Juice Pigs were a musical comedy trio originating in Windsor, Ontario consisting of Phil Nichol, Greg Neale and Seán Cullen, the latter of whom went on to become a well-known comedian in his own right in Canada. They're best known for the song "Eskimo" (alternately, "I'm the Only Gay Eskimo").

Cullen was one of the first people to take note of Barenaked Ladies after hearing their first demo tape Buck Naked, particularly impressed by their rendition of the Terence Trent D'Arby hit "Wishing Well". He subsequently invited them to tour with the Juice Pigs as their opening act in 1989 and 1990, and Steve credits "Corky" (likely referring to Cullen) with teaching him "how to perform" in the liner notes for Gordon.
