Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits 1991-2001 is a compilation album by Barenaked Ladies, released on November 13, 2001 by Reprise Records. It was the band's first official hits compilation (the second being 2011's Hits from Yesterday and the Day Before) and compiles most of the band's singles up to that point, with the exception of "Alcohol", "A", "Life, in a Nutshell" and "Break Your Heart". It also includes two new songs, "It's Only Me (The Wizard of Magicland)" and "Thanks That Was Fun".

The album's liner notes include short blurbs by Steven Page for each song, relating various details and anecdotes.

Trivia[]

  • The compilation's title is a reference to the Gordon track "Box Set", in which the first disc of the titular set is said to be a compilation of all the narrator's greatest hits.
  • The band originally did not intend to include both "Be My Yoko Ono" and "Alternative Girlfriend" on the album; they held a straw poll on their website as to which one should be included over the other, and the resulting roughly 50/50 split led to the inclusion of both.
  • Two additional new songs were recorded for this compilation: "I Can, I Will, I Do" and "I Don't Get It Anymore". The former was also recorded for 2003's Everything to Everyone but left off the final tracklist, and was finally released in 2006 on Barenaked Ladies Are Me. "I Don't Get It Anymore" was finally released in 2012 on the rarities compilation Stop Us If You've Heard This One Before.
