"The Chorus Girl" is a song written by Steven Page and Stephen Duffy and is part of Steve's solo repertoire. A solo demo recording was originally released as a free digital download during the Vanity Project era in 2005, and was later recorded with a full band for Steve's first post-BNL solo album Page One in 2010.

Trivia & Notes Edit

  • In a June 2005 article for Believer magazine, Steve describes recording the original demo version of the song using an Egg-Static Harp Mic, a small egg-shaped specialty microphone fashioned from a metal tea ball and intended for amplifying a harmonica (or "harp") that cost $20 via mail order.
